Good angst at the start. Mid spice. The Omega was giving off odd tradwife vibes though.

Overall I enjoyed reading this book, it was a fairly quick read. It was rather fast paced with many pov from the main characters. It could have been flushed out a bit more. The spicy parts felt lacking and with language that made it feel slightly weird.
As others have mentioned in other reviews there's not nearly enough groveling for what they did, and it feels very much like a kiss and make up situation

Evie has fogiven the Alphas in particular Damien to soon. I was expecting a little bit more grovel from the Alphas. I was let down by the return of the ex omega and the way it was resolved. Other than that the book itself was pretty good. I didn't like the last smut scene.
A few things brought the rating down- there’s fact that once the relationship gets settled, even before the final hurdle, all the tension feels completely gone. And the fact that in the beginning of the book she’s described as being passionate about her volunteer work for a cause that helps people of all designations out of bad relationships, but we never see a glimpse of that possibly because that would interfere with Damien’s vision of her as a spoiled useless omega? and she doesn’t even consider it as an option for her despite the forced nature of their relationship and the pack’s actions, which is partially understandable based on the description of her feelings of shame and the upbringing that planted that seed… but it still implies that people in that situation are pitiful or to be looked down on. I can kind of understand the causes, but I still wish it had come up more, since it was part of what helped me keep reading when in the beginning Evie felt like a character too different from myself to understand her perspective in an enjoyable way. I found other connections, but the volunteer work not showing up in the story was still a disappointment for me.
Omegaverse
Fated/scent matched
Pressured match on both sides
Pack hung up on the omega that left them and broke the bond by taking a different mate
A lot of bad behaviour
A lot of guilt and shame and some grand gesture grovelling
Omega standing up for herself while still trying to prove her worth

Couple of typos and repetitive phrasing. Story was good but the back half seemed a bit rushed. A lot of the groveling was implied- it would have been nice if it were expressly written. And I wished for more Justice in the way her parents behaved.

I've only read a few Omegaverse books, but this is slowly becoming a favorit genre of mine, and this one did not disappoint either. As with all enemie to lovers books I was concerned it would change too quickly and wouldn't get the hate I was looking for. This book gets about 70% in Before feelings and actions start to change. I was hoping for a more prolonged grovel, but the FMC gave in pretty quickly once thr tide turned. The boys I'd put in th4 work though! Ans no prolonged outside drama, I started ro worry for a second but that was shut down quickly! Satisfying read!
I think men should just go to therapy instead of inflicting all of their trauma on everyone around them! Despite that, I found this book to be really good. The angst was perfect and while there wasn’t nearly enough groveling I liked the guys after they figured out how to not be assholes.
Evie was very sweet and I wished there was more discussion on her relationship with her family, as well as her work with the organization she said she worked with.

Rating - ⭐⭐⭐
Spice - 🌶️🌶️🌶️
The first almost 50% percent of this book had me in tears. I wanted to shake those alphas on how badly they were treating her. It broke my heart. Evie was such a great character and I adored her so much. She was so used to taking care of herself because almost everyone in her life had proven to her that she had to do it on her own. I'm just sorry it took too long for them to realize how much damage they inflicted on her.
Damien made me furious. He was childish and while he does turn it around at the end, I truly would not have been able to forgive him. And I understand the reasons for why Cole, Luke, and Asher went along with it, but man I was disappointed in them too. I'm glad they eventually turned things around, but it shouldn't have gotten to that part in the first place.
I am interested in more if the author decides for this to be a series, however, I did read this practically in one night. I enjoyed it.
