Amazing, amazing, amazing. It was clever, witty, creative, and comical. I couldn't put it down. The word usage was amazing. I also loved all the lessons that Juster puts in The Phantom Tollbooth. He uses Milo to teach children so many things, but most of the times, the lessons go over their heads. I wish I remembered this book as a child. I adored the movie and I'm so glad that I picked this up.

Lovely read filled with delicious word play. Recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the magic of words.

Why is it that children’s books can sometimes have the most profound messages? This one is filled with brilliant quotes to live by, such as “So many things are possible as long as you don’t know they’re impossible.” One book that I wish I had paid more more attention to as a child, but I’m glad I rediscovered it when I did.

A fun and whimsical read as an adult, but I did find it hard to follow along with this on audiobook and found myself lost multiple times.
