I absolutely loved this book. It was amazing smart humor and a statement about humanity in the guise of a children's book. I loved what it said about thinking and education, and about how so many people perceive the world around them moving so quickly that they notice nothing.
It was an amazing book and if you haven't read it, I highly recommend that you do. I wish I'd read it as a child because it was fantastic!

What a lovely, whimsical read.
I'm not going to lie, I always kind of thought that this book was a weird fever dream that I had. It wasn't until I got to chatting with a parent at the Ronald McDonald House during one of my internship evenings that I learned it was real!
Of course, I added to my list of books to revisit.
I'm so glad that I did. This book is hysterical, cooky, and uses vocabulary, idioms, and turns of phrase in such a fun way. It was a super quick read for me as an adult, and I listened to part of it via audiobook (narrated by Rainn Wilson) which I really enjoyed.

I have always been told this is a must and I probably should have read it much much much earlier. But I think reading it now gave me a better appreciation for it. It was fun and quirky and made me think about things. I enjoyed the adventure.
