Fuck. I started this book last Saturday and just finished it. “Maybe we didn’t ask for too much, maybe we could have everything” is the best way to end the book. I swear this book is so powerful. It truly is a love story. Romantic and found family! I love a found family story and this one was so good! It’s also so funny how Joan didn’t even know that she was queer until the night of the Strip Club. It’s so funny!

I really thought we had lost Vanessa there but the sudden twist at the eleventh hour was so quick that I got emotional whiplash! HOLY SHIT WHAT A RIDE!
