3.2 - It was alright. It was less of a romance book than I thought it would be. It’s more of a slice-of-life than anything else. It shows someone coping with grief over loss of a boyfriend and learning about herself.
My biggest complaint was the abrupt starting and ending of chapters. Each chapter plunged into a new scene and setting with little warning and rarely didn’t continue from the last chapter. It was very jerky.

This was such an emotional read but I really loved the way it was written! I loved how Lydia and Jonah were able to move forward and find happiness again after everything that they’ve gone through.

Not what I expected for a romance or from the summary...until the very end, I guess? It dragged and I found myself waiting and waiting for the *romance* to kick in and it only came in two tiny parts. I guess I wanted more lovey dovey romance than it provided?! I do like the twist of the main character finding herself + the theme of self love, so maybe this twist on *love* is what makes this book worth reading?
