Again, not bad.

The magic and craziness that these kids get in to is still going strong. They can get into some funny shenanigans.

This book had an interesting perspective to the mental health of Aunt Lucy, and it fully explained why people thought she was crazy. And as such, we got further information regarding the dangerous of the "Guide".

Another good one. Interesting magical characters, continued world building (around the Fae world and the different creatures there in). Great character development in the kids continue as well.

it's has elves in it, mas estes são maus which is kinda sad. não estou a achar a série nada por aí além, mas deve ser devido à minha idade. devia ter lido isto à quase 10 anos atrás ahah

Right away I started enjoying this book more than I did for book 2 [b:The Seeing Stone|519048|The Seeing Stone (The Spiderwick Chronicles, #2)|Holly Black|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1358701671s/519048.jpg|2210660]. I liked when they got to meet Aunt Lucy and discuss the secrets of the house. It gave the book a little more darkness to it which I guess was a little more enjoyable to me!

This book went on a fun journey and I feel like the series is improving. Maybe the kids are maturing too.

Olsen, my eight-year-old son, is reading this book too. His review will and rating will follow this one.

Luke Skywalker keeps improving in his narration. It is quite enjoyable.

Olsen’s rating: 5 stars
Olsen’s review:
Olsen didn’t feel like writing a review for this book.

Este es definitivamente mi favorito de la serie. Es el más mágico y aporta mucho a la base de la historia. Este nos da mucha información y creo que es el más mágico de todos. La trama me encantó y creo que este es en definitiva el más fuerte de todos los libros.

New characters continue to keep me involved.

This is my favorite book in the series so far! I'm glad we got to meet new creatures and characters that weren't in the film. Now I wish they'd remake the movie to include these other elements of the books especially with today's quality of CGI!!

‪Things are starting to get interesting!! I always like picking up a Spiderwick book because I know it would be a short read but the illustrations and story are great.‬

The third novel in the Spiderwick Chronicles. The three Grace kids think it’s time to see Aunt Lucinda to see if she can shed any light on their situation at her house. She tells them it isn’t safe there, and that they mustn’t stay there. She also mentions her father, Arthur Spiderwick, and how one day he just left his family. This gets the children thinking, and once the field guide goes missing they begin their mission for the guide, and for their great-uncle. The novel was full of adventure, mysteries, and the mystical land of faeries, goblins, elves and bogarts. The more the reader reads, the more interesting it gets. In this third novel, the reader gets a sense of how each novel is set up, and they are set up well. Black does a great job of making sure the reader doesn’t see what’s coming, and that all plotlines come as a bit of a surprise. The creatures that are used in this story give it some fear, and the illustrations really help to pull the story along. Overall, it’s a great addition to the chronicle; this novel really leads suspense for the next novel.

Great book

It's an okay series. Jared is an unlikable main character but the world is an interesting one.
