Everly ve Cash çocukluk arkadaşları olsalar da 14 yıldır görüşmemişlerdir.
Ve uzun zaman sonra ki ilk karşılaşmaları ise Vegas'ta evlilikle sonuçlanmıştır

This book was such a delight! I was shipping Cash and Everly as soon as we got the flashback to the day of prom when they made their pact. I'm a sucker for marriage of convenience/forced proximity stories. I am a sucker for childhood friends + element of forbidden (best friend's sister). I am a sucker for the supposed playboy who really has a heart that beats for one woman. And I am a sucker for found family. I got all of those and more in this book. I loved getting to check back in with Marlow and Dylan from the first book. I loved getting to see more of the Stafford family --- both parents and siblings. I loved the time spent in London and the time spent in Aspen Grove. I don't want to give too much away, so I will just cycle back to my intro statement --- this book is such a delight!!
At a glance:
- childhood friends
- marriage pact
- impromtu Vegas wedding
- best friend's sister/brother's best friend
- forced proximity
- marriage of convenience
- it's always been you
My thanks to the publishers for an advanced review copy. All opinions are my own.

If you are looking for the perfect beach read, a light and fluffy romance, then this one is for you. Cash had me squealing and swooning for all that he did and said to Everly. The slow burn (not too slow either) chefs kiss.
One thing that didn’t disappoint was the ending, I was waiting for that meeting and I was here for it.

Oh boy, this was a mixed bag. I really loved Dylan’s story so I was very excited, but got a disappointing book.
I liked the premise, I liked the characters and the side-characters (bar the cartoonish Richard and Landon).
However, the writing was very below the previous one’s standards and it pains me to say that. The book was too long, a good editor (and frankly a proofreader) would have been handy.
There was a lot of telling instead of showing and a lot of repetition where I was audibly sighing and jumping paragraphs because we saw the thing happen 2 chapters prior, we do not need an extensive description in a conversation..
Ah, the conversations.. one of my pet peeves is using sentences humans do not use to communicate. There were instances when I was supposed to believe people use 3-lines long complex grammar phrases. They don’t.
For some reason we were also force-fed everything, while I do believe readers are intelligent enough to draw their own conclusions and not have everything spelled out for them. And no, we are not talking about complex analogies here.
All in all I would have liked the story itself but the writing and lack of editing took a lot away.
Will I read Harrison’s story? Yes, I like the characters, the author managed to pull together a cast of characters that have distinct features, so props for that.

This series has been super sweet. I’ve really been enjoying the couples. And I absolutely LOVED book 1!! And who doesn’t love a Vegas wedding?!? Everly and Cash’s re meet cute couldn’t be better.
However, I wasn’t REALLY feeling the chemistry in this one? And the story felt a little forced at times? Or maybe I just wasn’t super in the mood for it??
Regardless, it was still enjoyable and Im still excited for Book 3- cant wait for Harrison and Fallon!!!

Tequila driven marriage in Vegas to her brothers best friend and secret childhood crush!? One Bed? Billionaire who spoils her? YESSSS
Ok!!
This was so fun to read.
It was fluffy while being flirty.
It was sweet while being sexy.
It has all of the "My Wife" vibes you could ever want, WHILE also giving you the "My husband" aesthetic. *chefs kiss*
I enjoyed so much about Everly and Cash. Everly was a bit grumpy and closed off, while Cash was a big ole ball of sunshine. The way that they challenge each other, tease each other, engage in fun banter, but also find a way to lean on each other for support.
I swooned just a little bit!!!
Cash is such an amazing MMC - he's possessive, thoughtful, patient, and is just all in. The way that he realized that Everly was everything that needed and decided to find a way to he her everything was so sweet.
I really loved that Everly truly saw Cash for who he is, beyond the scars & playboy antics. She constantly showed up for him to remind him how amazing he was regardless of the scar. I liked how she slowly learned to stand her ground & fight for herself.
The plotline around the company merger was fun! I liked having a villain to take down while swooning over our damaged hero. The way the entire Stafford family shows up for each other is another thing I love about this book. I love this whole clan.

Billionaire, accidentally marriage, childhood friends, best friends sister, one bed
MMC: Cash Stafford; 31
FMC: Everly Townstead; 31
I enjoyed this! Love me an accidental marriage where the MMC is already down bad for the fmc. So basically they grew up together and her twin brother is his best friend and he always had a crush on her but her brother told him she was off limits. During the senior year they make a marriage pact for if the are still single in their thirties to get married. It’s now 14 years later and they run into each other in Vegas and long story short they wake up married and have to go with for a while due to their family business. Cash is all for it and just has to convince her it was meant to be and not get divorced at the end of everything.
It was a fun lighthearted read! Lots of my wife, one bed vibes. Him wearing the bracelet she gave him for 14 years, getting her to cut his hair cause she loves his scar and helps him with his insecurities, the shoe shopping spree, her dream house… it was all very chill and cute.
“I’ll tell you what.” I give in to temptation and play with a strand of her hair. “If you can’t find him, and we’re both still single when we’re thirty, we’ll get married.”
““Oh, speaking of my wife,” I say, a smile spreading across my face. I don’t think I’ll ever get over how much I like calling her that.”
“I’ve wanted you since the tenth grade, Ev. There’s no way I’m letting the chance to call you mine slip through my fingers now.”
“After spending the last couple of nights in the same bed as Everly, I’ve decided I don’t like the idea of us sleeping in separate bedrooms. It’s just a happy coincidence that I only have one bed.”
