After finishing Dylan and Marlow's story, I have been itching to get back to Aspen Grove for Cash and Everly's impromptu marriage, and OH BOY was this everything I wanted and more!

I loved everything about Everly and Cash - Everly a bit grumpy and closed off, Cash a mask of sunshine. The way they play off each other, their banter, and then lean on each other for support. To say I swooned is an understatement. Cash is such an amazing MMC - he's possessive ("wifey"), thoughtful, and just jumps headfirst into this marriage with no real reservations. He is everything Everly needed and didn't know. Same for Everly as she truly sees Cash for who he is - no matter any scars that might be there. She fights for him but also ends up fighting for herself. And I love the plot around the merging companies and Everyl's father. It's always fun when there is a villain of some sort in the mix.
The whole Stafford clan has such fun interactions - I also loved Everly's brothers as they are great side characters. This book sets up Harrison's story so nicely and I am counting down the days until we get to visit Aspen Grove again.

I was so excited to be back with the Stafford family! I first met the Stafford family in the holiday novella If You Give A Grump A Holiday wish and I loved their antics here just as much. This isn’t really a second chance romance but felt like one with a marriage of convenience and a MMC who has been pinning over his girl for YEARS.

Cash & Everly are probably one of my favourite marriage of convenience couples. Ann writes FMCs who are caring and smart and strong but her MMCs? WHEW. Ann takes my perfect fictional man and puts him on the page and they get better and better with every book. If you like that "my wife" moment, you better run and pick this up because you WILL NOT be disappointed! And the way Everly makes Cash wERk for it.

Super cute story. I'm a sucker for marriage of convenience so I loved that aspect. I also loved how persistent Cash was throughout the book.
This was quite steamy but unfortunately some of those scenes were too copycat from her previous books. But overall it was a really good book.
