This was such a lovely book. It filled my heart with so much happiness.

This was my first book my J. Saman, and I am already looking for my next. I loved that this book had no third act breakup. That is what drew me to the audiobook in the first place. I thought the way it was written, still showing that conflict but making it so communication and thinking things through took precedent really had a brilliant impact.
There were some really funny scenes, which I felt went really well with some of the more difficult/ serious topics that also feature in the story.
Donโ€™t worry, spice fans, J. Saman has you covered with some very fun spicy scenes that worked so well with the story.
The only thing non-positive for me was the intro of the heroineโ€™s family and who they were all connected to, I felt that might have read better than listening. But that could just be a me thing. And it was such a small thing.
Definitely a must listen.
Savannah Peachwood and Alex Kydd perform this dual narrated audiobook. Alex isnโ€™t someone I have listened to a lot. And I struggled as best to review his portion and settled on he was fine. I wonโ€™t be rushing to listen to more, but I did finish the audio and thought the word-vomit moments were performed brilliantly. Savannah Peachwood was fantastic. I loved how she voiced the heroine and how her determination and grit really shone through.

๐™น. ๐š‚๐šŠ๐š–๐šŠ๐š—. Y'all, I have been sleeping on this author and I'm not sure why. Her writing style is great and her characters were captivating!

This is my second pregnancy of convenience trope, and, much like the first, this one was a fun read! We get Katy Barrows, a trauma surgeon, who had a kiss with a super hot doc many moons ago. Now he's back, and he's her boss. He's thrown her for a loop, turning back up in her life, but what happens when he does is utterly delicious and oh so spark filled!

I adored Dr. Bennet Lawson. From the troubles of love & marriage, to his falling hard and fast for Katy, all of it made me swoon so many times! The mouth on him, though? Filthy and oh so fun!

๐‘†๐‘Ž๐‘ฃ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘›๐‘Žโ„Ž ๐‘ƒ๐‘’๐‘Ž๐‘โ„Ž๐‘ค๐‘œ๐‘œ๐‘‘ did a magnificent job at voicing Katy. Her voice always flows beautifully and this was no exception! ๐ด๐‘™๐‘’๐‘ฅ ๐พ๐‘ฆ๐‘‘๐‘‘ brought Bennett to life in a most captivating way. I haven't listened to many of his performances, but every time I do, I am blown away. The tone of his voice is beautiful and addictive! Perfect pairing!

If you're a fan of billionaire romances, and hot, dirty talking doctors, then you must grab this one up. If you're a fan of Grey's Anatomy, you'll love this one! Looking forward to more on this series from this talented author!

Author: J. Saman

Couple: Katy & Bennett Lawson

Tropes: doctor romance, Attending x Resident, baby of convenience, chronic illness rep, large family vibes, broken MMC, found family, workplace romance, medical romance

Review: Undeniably Convenient was everything I adore in workplace and medical romances! Julie created a masterpiece in her spin off series and second generation of the Boston Billionaire Bachelor and Irresistibly Yours serieses. Katy in my opinion was the perfect FMC to set off the series andI loved how strong she was as and FMC in the face of all the adversary she had in her story! Julie was able to deliver a story where chronic illness was a centerpiece to the story while also creating two MCs who never backed away from the risks of her having the disease.

Katyโ€™s story was EVERYTHING! I loved how she never allowed her diabetes to keep her down and instead proved that no barriers would hold her back. I also adored how her family provided so much support and love. The mentality that Julie created among the previous cast of characters and their kids was phenomenal and just added that much more to Katyโ€™s backstory and inner strength. Getting to see Layla and Callan again was also much needed since I missed them after the end of their book. I also LOVED seeing the children of the previous two series together and causing chaos, especially once Bennett entered the picture and introduced the plan for Katy to have her dream baby.

Bennett Lawson was the MAN in this book. His development and growth was the foundation for the romance and HEA since his demons fought harder than Katyโ€™s. I adored his cinnamon roll side and how he had the dirtiest mouth ever but also had the morals of a saint (at times). His dilemma with being her superior was handled perfectly in my opinion and I loved how he was the one who went in and laid it bare but also took himself off the panel that could decide Katyโ€™s future.

Katy and Bennett were full up on the chemistry, spice and tension from the initial meet-cute and they only got hotter as the book went on. The parts I found the best centered around Bennett being her rock and inherent protector (much to Katyโ€™s obliviousness). I also LOVED how he fell hard for the baby once they found out Katy was pregnant. Julie was able to balance the tropes in a way that did not make the two of them a cliche but instead a romance between two people who should have been together already!

Rating: 100+, Bennett Lawson is HERE and I only want MORE!

Thank you Valentine PR and Julie for the eARC copy!

My god, this book has no business being this spicy. The mouth on this man ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ in more than one way, really. I donโ€™t know about you, but Iโ€™ve never heard of a baby of convenience trope before this book, so I was intrigued. Iโ€™d read surrogate trope, but this is different. This is where both parties want an active role in raising a baby, which no romantic connection. Just co-parenting essentially. Now the question is, how is the baby conceived? Clinic or naturally? Wellโ€ฆIโ€™m sure you can figure that out, and let me tell youโ€ฆmy man Bennett knows how to do the damn thing. And Katy has never been able to resist his charm, not now, and not 7 years ago before he left Boston to move across the county. But now heโ€™s back and wants her to have his baby.

The narration on this was impeccable. Savannah Peachwood always does amazing and Iโ€™m always blown away by her male voices in dual narrations. And this is my first Alex Kydd narration and it was literal perfection. I canโ€™t wait to hear more of his narrations in the future.

I love a good next generation series, especially when it spins off from two already fantastic series and I know itโ€™s just going to be so good! And, WOW, Katy and Bennettโ€™s story did not disappoint and with a unique trope twist, this book is definitely one of a kind!

Katy Barrows is currently a trauma resident at one of Bostonโ€™s most prestigious hospitals and is looking to secure a coveted fellowship. But, thatโ€™s not all sheโ€™s looking forward to in the future, she really wants to become a mom. However, after a horrible relationship sheโ€™s not really looking for love. Bennett Lawson is coming on at Boston as chief of trauma surgery after his life is upended in Minnesota and his trust in relationships is burned to the ground. But, Bennett has always wanted to be dad so, when he over hears Katy talking about her plans, he makes a proposition of his own, a no relationship, platonic parenting baby contract. He and Katy will have a a baby together, parent together, love their child together, without catching those loving feeling for each other. Rightโ€ฆ.

With a history of one steamy hot kiss seven years ago, Katy and Bennett already have chart topping tension from the jump and it only escalates as the story progresses! This book was HOT, HOT, HOT! I love how Katy is a driven, strong badass of a woman and how Bennett is initially a broken man, but when heโ€™s with Katy he slowly returns to the sexy, dominating man he once was! With two strong personalities everything about this couple was explosive and fiercely protective for one another and their baby and I was here for it! This book definitely gives some Greyโ€™s Anatomy vibes so if thatโ€™s your thing (like me) you should check this out!
