I'M DONE! FINALLY! JULE IS A FREE ELF NOW!

Jule over and out.

I'm giving this a 4 because of a spoiler. The rest of it is a 3 to 3.5. The Infernal Devices was superior.

📝 Review:
This was a fitting ending for this series. It was intense as Shadowhunters were winning then losing, hopeful as the heroes planned, and the final battle was satisfying with a twist that broke my heart, but was healed with the epilogue. Overall this is an excellent series with an immersive world and lovable characters. I do remember there was a movie made and I don't remember watching it so maybe I'll give that a go (yes I do remember hearing it's bad haha but there's also fun in that!).

🤔 Why You Should Read It:
Hopeful, tense, satisfying ending

5/5 - So much angst and a great conclusion

This book was honestly really well written and the ending was nothing like I predicted at all. I loved it. I loved seeing Tessa and Jem in this book as well as all the hints dropped about which family is indebted to who since it just makes me want to read the other books to figure out why.

I found it interesting though how clary found out that the Seelie Queen was sided by Sebastian in the last book, but then that’s not an issue to address during the first clave meeting? Why wasn’t this brought up during the beginning of this book? Especially when all of the downworlder representatives were kidnapped from a dinner at the Seelie Queen’s representative’s house? Why was this discovered after?

I’m also glad that Clary and Jace figured out this whole communication thing in this book. It was nice to see them blossoming from a bad relationship to a healthy relationship.

But also, Sebastian was gross in this.

Not sure if I would read this series again since it’s so damn long and I definitely prefer TID or Clare’s later works.

BEST BOOK EVER. EVERYTHING WAS JUST PERFECT AND THE ENDING WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND UNEXPECTED! Thank you, Cassie for giving us, the fans, the best memories of shadowhunters ever. I am going to miss ALL the characters. SEBASTIAN, I'm gonna freaking miss him and all the arrogance and swag he had. But thank you, for the best Series of book EVER!

Finally over, that was so long.

The war parts were pretty interesting.

This was a very well-written book! Around the end of the book was the best. Very intense, too. Great book!
