gerçek-düş arası bir hikaye. fotoğraflar ve el çizimleri olmasına rağmen.

No clue how to rate something like this, but I think I like bits of it? The pictures were my favourite bit, they were fun!

This is a strange book. I’ve never read anything like it. Some parts were excellent. Some parts felt like words had been vomited into strange incoherent sentences. Sometimes they were both. The book was so short, and yet discussed so many things. Enigmatic throughout. I could never quite understand what was going on. However I do finally understand the meaning of ‘stream of consciousness’. It is a book I want to reread in the original language (French) in a few years, and see if my opinion changes. I’m conflicted on my opinion on this book- that’s the only thing I’m sure of.

This book had me making the same face as the husband Ken in the Bee Movie…not even from  surrealism, but rather the uncomfortable level of objectified-manic-pixie-dream-girlification of Nadja by Andre.

We get it Andre, you have famous friends and money and an ego and want a girl who isn’t like other girls. We get it and we judge you for it.
