another awesome action packed zom-b book. These books never let me down. Equal parts gory and action, each book slowly starting to reveal the finale - something I can finally see as happening. There are still MANY questions, but this one at least moves the story along.
I can't wait for the next one!

This book was typical of what I’ve come to expect from this series, but despite that it was an enjoyable read. I’m intrigued to see where Shan takes this story next.

B being tortured by Dan-Dan. The thing that makes this guy so creepy is that despite him not being quite as gruesome as some of Shan’s other characters such as Lord Loss’s demons, he is more real. It is perfectly possible for someone like Dan-Dan to exist. So it goes without saying that I was rather pleased at his demise.This book was typical of what I’ve come to expect from this series, but despite that it was an enjoyable read. I’m intrigued to see where Shan takes this story next.

It was on the more gory side of the series. Not that it was needed, but it helped to see B overcome from some difficult situations she was placed in.
This book was amazingly horrifying. Clans and Family really has me on the edge of my seat gasping in shock at the next worst thing that could possibly happen. I love it!

This book was extremely heartbreaking and I never thought Darren Shan could be capable of this much hurt. This book is about Rage turning on the angels and bringing along B with him. They end up at the place with Dan-Dan, Owl Man, the KKK clan, and even B's father (surprise). This book was a little dragged out around the beginning where B was trying to figure out what she was going to do and then once the middle came along your spirits were about as high as B's (which were extremely low). B finds out that B is given the chance to help them find more cures and be a study subject, but declines and is left to Dan-Dan's torture. This was a cruel scene where he tears down B's spirit and hope/want to live. The ending is even more cruel when I really liked Darren's writing in this book, but it was extremely sad compared to all the others I've read.
