After reading this brief book, and taking the assessment, I received my top five strengths which I had not thought of as strengths but are very accurate. In order...Input, Learner, Intellection, Restorative, Achiever. What I liked most about this was it picked out things I enjoyed and already knew I was talented in deep down that I never considered I could utalize in a business/work environment. The action plan provided is a nice catalyst to get a person thinking about how they can apply these strengths to not only excel professionally, but also to look at life with a new perspective. I find that I am noticing these strengths in everything I do now which honestly makes me feel more valuable as an employee and in general. I would reccommend the book for those that have about $27 to spare though it is brief. I do not reccommed the digital version; however, the strengths assessment for your top 5 is available on the Gallup website for $9.99. You don't need the book to take the test. I only wish they had more to offer in the book itself.

Together with the test it's a really cool tool to get to know your work style better, and to understand other people better.

Good Read, though it's a pitch for their test. I haven't taken the test, but I felt as if certain strengths resonated with me strongly, some were lesser strengths, and of course their were one's that did not. Reading the book by itself I thought I got a pretty good understanding of my strengths. Unfortunately each book only comes with one test for one person.

As most reviewers already mentioned: it's nothing new
While the idea of working on your strengths and ignoring your weaknesses is unfamiliar, the division of personalities felt like a more diverse and in-depth DISC assessment.
