This one was okay- if you've read other books on the subject, there's nothing new here. If you're unsure of any of the studies that the author mentions, be sure to look it up. I was puzzled by a few of the generalizations and needed some more information to understand the bigger picture.

Interesting, but I thought that the authors focused on the negative side of irrational behavior. I believe there are some positives which contribute to that irresistible pull.

I loved how the author used fun examples to illustrate the different concepts.

The book did a very good job by crossing professions in human experience so that with each cognitive distortion discussed, you had a few easily accessible examples.
The Brafman brothers don't have Malcolm Gladwell's abilities. They nevertheless provide an interesting analysis of the ways we are 'swayed' into irrational behaviours.
This book is similar to Mindset by Carol Dweck but without the mindset growth aspects. The author explain instances in which people have been or can be swayed or biases to choose or react in certain certain circumstances. Its not a book that I'd highly recommend but its a nice quick read.
A combination of intriguing topics and fast-paced writing makes "Sway" straight-up gripping. At just under 200 pages, grab this one before a flight and you won't be disappointed.
3.5 stars out of 5. Though the content is often surface-level (prepare for a whirl of psychological survey summaries) the style makes for an enjoyable and quick read.

A 3.5. A breezy look through some interesting anecdotes and social psychology type studies. Some good food for thought about management and loss aversion and such.
