This is an unexpected book for me. I first dived into this book not really knowing what I'm about to read. All I know is that it's new adult and it's suppose to be splashed with sexiness.
It a lot more.
It's a story of recovery and a love that's rooted in forgiveness. It's a love that's been hindered by mistake and secrets from the past and it was freeing getting through it. Chelsea Cameron, an author I've never head of before, captivated me with a story I'm sure to keep even after a year. It's fascinating to discover a hidden gem like her.

Loved Zan and Lottie!! :-) you get a good idea about what this story is exactly about by reading synopsis and you totally enjoy reading about Lottie and Zan. Lottie reminds me a lot about myself since she is very talkative ;P and there is a tiny dark side in this book cause of the accident, but as it was in Zan's pov too you get into his head very well. All the other characters were good, supportive and amiable, Will was my fav! I just wished if Zack would have got more hard time then it would ve been better. As he gets away with things he causes too fast.
I received and ARC from publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this story. I thought all of the characters were well likable and I wanted them all to have their happily ever afters. It was a light read with heavy subject matter so it wasn't too much to handle and I kept wanting to read more. I finished the story in a day because I just needed to know what was going to happen with Zan and Lottie. One character who I wished had a more prominent role was Simon. I loved Simon and thought he was a great character but he just seemed to disappear half way through. I loved the "Twindar" between Will and Lottie, I thought that was cute and funny and a good aspect to the book, it made me want to have a twin to have twindar with. I enjoyed reading this and would recommend it to those who are looking for a good romance.

Favourite Quote: “No sense in worrying about the past. It’s not going to worry about you.”
Late last year I read Chelsea M.Camerons novel ‘My Favourite Mistake’ and I loved it! So when I saw this book for less than a pound I just had to buy it, and I was not disappointed!
Let’s start with the plot, at some parts mostly ones that included Lexie, seeing the lasting effects of a car crash wa just heart-breaking but there were a lot of funny moments throughout the book and that easied up all the darkness. I had guessed the main plot twist by just reading the blurb but that do not stop me from enjoying this beautifully written story!
The characters were all awesome, well except Zack but that’s to be expected. Lottie was a down to earth character who I really liked, add in she was funny, loves to read and has a hilarious twin brother Will makes her awesome. As for the main love interest Zan was just amazing, everything anyone could want, my heart broke for him most of the book. Loved him so much. The side characters were also great, Will, Audrey, Katie, Simon etc all brought something to the book and were really memorable, and that’s hard to pull off sometimes!
The only problem that I had with this book was it was just a little to long and I felt myself skimming through the last 50 pages and had to force myself to go back and read them fully, however that does not stop me from higly recommending this book, especially if you’re a comtemtporary fan! I give this book 4/5 stars!

The setup was interesting: an accident occurring years earlier has left Lottie’s best friend with a traumatic brain injury. She blames two brothers: Zan and Zack and they both end up attending the same college as Lottie. Lottie finds herself drawn to Zan, despite the fact that he was driving drunk and caused the accident.
The characters were compelling and I loved how richly drawn the secondary characters were in the story. They weren’t merely showpieces and I would really be interested in their own stories (especially Will’s, Lottie’s twin). The next book focuses on Katie, Lottie’s roommate, and it should make for an interesting read.
I wasn’t totally feeling the romance and I can’t pinpoint an exact reason why. I think all of the right elements were there (brooding bad boy/ sweet good girl) but it felt off to me. I did like that the author told the story from dual POVs. I’m sure I wouldn’t have liked Zan otherwise. He would’ve seemed like too much of a weird creeper if I hadn’t known what was going on inside of his head.
The pacing was a mixed bag for me. The beginning really dragged and I kept waiting for something to happen. However, once I got to mid-point, the story kicked into high gear and I was able to finish the novel quickly. There were a lot of twists thrown in that I didn’t see coming.
This was a good New Adult read and I would definitely read another book by the author. Although I didn’t love the romance, the rest of the story was intriguing enough to hold my interest until the end.

Honest opinion? I was so frustrated with Lottie for the first part of the book. But I just loved Lan! Then half way through I really started to love the story and was hooked and didn't want it to end the closer I got to the end of the book. I definitely recommend :)
