How are Ray Bradbury's short stories so compelling compared with Fahrenheit 451

What can I say about this book?
I've been reading Ray Bradbury's books since I was 14 years and because of his style and the creative ideas he has he turned into one of my favorite authors of all times. This book was not the exception, since the first paragraph I knew it would be a wonderful reading and it was. It remembered me to Fahrenheit 451 for some reason and it made the book even better.

Short and sweet. If your taking the time to read this review it would be more efficient for you to simply read the story.

I found this story very interesting and erie. The thought that there is no one walking outside, and that no one wants to feel the fresh air or move their legs feels too real. This seems like something that could happen, which the way society is moving, which makes it scarier. The idea that police officers are no longer needed and that the one who is still around is making petty claims emphasized the lack of activity. This is further pointed out when the police questions him if his air conditioner is still providing cool air, as fresh air is probably not a concept that he hears often. Although it was not clear what was happening in the last scene, I had the feeling that the man was being brought to a mental hospital because of his differences. Another possibility is that the man is being unlawfully punished, which would comment on the corruption of society and the police force.
