I do not get the hype for this...plot is ridiculous. main guy is so irritating. but then also just has an unrealistic level of trauma and also completely switches halfway through because he's trying to charm her but that's also his real personality? just felt like the author all the sudden decided that we weren't supposed to dislike him anymore and flipped the switch without it being earned at all
silly romance so of course it all works out and she gets the life of her dreams etc etc but this really just did not do it for me
the writing was pretty bad, and I found at least three separate typos. The twins were just insufferable, I skimmed every single interaction with his staff, useless
was just really not sold on how tortured he was lol it sort of came out of nowhere but also he's a gigantically privileged in every other way and the whole trauma thing just appeared from his weird magical decorated library??? and I just could not get with it

4.5 stars. Loved and adored this book! I am running on little sleep right now but I just adored this book and thought it was so fun. I think if I re-read it would be a favorite in 5 star.

okay the thing is. i know this book was cute and i remember really enjoying reading it like in a fun way. but i do not remember anything other than the overarching plot and that is telling. well i remember the cat getting his own bedroom which i loved but. so not that memorable but i know i enjoyed
