Chile, I still can't stand Harper. He's been through 2 movies, a whole tv show, 20 years of marriage, the death of a close friend, a book deal and movie deal, a miscarriag and STILL acts like a man-child. He is such an unlikeable character and will never be redeemable in my eyes. Maybe this is why I hated the narrator for him so much.

Waited my whole life for a book version of this movie, just for this to piss me off.

I realized I no longer cared about the characters. I feel like the show on Peacock wrapped up their storylines and this was just not interesting for me to keep going.

This was not at all what I thought it would be.  If you are a fan of the movies and show, this picks up right where the show left off and closely follows the love triangle (or lack thereof) of Harper, Robyn and Jordan.

Harper is still himself; reckless, self-sabotaging, and selfish. Robyn; whiny, unnecessarily head strong and a little resentful (but healing).  Then there is Jordan…  HBIC!  I really love her character.  She has some insecurities but with the right pep talk, she gets it done.

A standout in the book was Shelby.  I could literally picture her while reading the words.  Overall, this was nostalgic.  It gave me all the feels.  Worth the read!

Harper definitely got on my nerves lol I'm also super super mad about the ending! Very open ended I can't wait for the next one !

Incredible

Wow! I really enjoyed catching up with Harper, Jordin, and Robyn. The way the characters are written stays true to their on-screen portrayals. I loved seeing Harper finally look inward and work on being more present, Robyn continuing to choose herself, and getting a deeper look into Jordin’s life. At first, I wasn’t too keen on the idea of Harper and Jordin—but it works. I also loved the cameos from other members of their friend group; it made the story feel even more connected to the original. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the crew!

I found it difficult to get into this book. The author’s writing style was quite plain, the plot was unremarkable, and the three main characters, Jordan, Harper, and Robyn, were quite annoying and unlikeable. They all needed to get their act together, and I wasn’t rooting for any of their romantic connections. However, there was some humour sprinkled throughout the book that made me chuckle a few times.
