Anyone who's ever worked in customer service in any capacity knows these people, the fun ones, the strange ones, the ones that make you want to beat your head against the wall. Some of these anecdotes are hilarious, and some fall flat, but all in all the book is a fun diversion and, in some cases, a bit of a trip down memory lane.

I couldn't stop laughing with this one, being a bookseller must be fun.

A short and sweet review for a short and sweet read. Both Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops, and More Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops, are by BookTuber Jen Campbell (though for those of you who are interested, she was a published author BEFORE she became a BookTuber, in case that matters to some). These are quick, light and humorous reads that will likely resonate with booksellers more so than bookish people, but are enjoyable nonetheless. I personally couldn't justify £8.99 RRP per book (hardback), but I picked both of these up for £3.99 (paperback) from The Book People.

I read the first book some months ago and loved, loved it! And while shopping in Amsterdam I found book 2 and decided to buy it.

It was once again a wonderful and silly book. Some things just seemed so unbelievable though, and some things made me roll my eyes. Some people are quite stupid.

Thanks Jen Campbell, and I hope this won't be the last book in this series, I do hope for more (maybe from other bookstores) stories and funny stuff.

I would recommend this to everyone.

I wouldn't really buy this book from the bookstore- I bought my copy from the secondhand store and promptly started reading when I got home, finding that I had already read half of it standing in a bookstore a few years back. It's really quite funny and especially hilarious for book-lovers, with little bite-sized anecdotes that leave you chuckling for a good while.

"BOY (reading titles of books on the shelf): My Family and Other Animals? Ha. Yes. I think my sister looks like a ferret.
HIS SISTER (shouting from the other side of the shop): I heard that! And you look like a diseased baboon!

I think this book was even better than the first one, though I've been hearing others say otherwise. The sequel to the Weird Things Customers Say in Bookstores just got even funnier. The quote at the top was my favorite it had me laughing out loud for seconds, as usual there were still rude remarks from the customers but it was still short, funny and hilarious. I love it!
