This took an absolute AGE to finish. I swear I was reading this for 2 and a half weeks. That's absurd for a manga.
The dialogue is cramped and overflowing on each page. There's way less art than words. And for a manga, that seems counter productive.
There were moments at the beginning and end that had me flipping the pages urgently. But the 85% of the middle was so damn boring and a slog to get through. It's making me question whether or not to continue to be honest.

I've been loving this series very much, but this middle volume was almost entirely dialogue, with little excitement unfolding until the last chapter.

Pretty frustrating where the series is going... The plot seems to be getting quite boring
So i was not expecting any of what is going on in this book to happen. Like, at all. It's very different from the format we've had so far and I am very pleased with the way the moral chore of the serie is going and how it pushes the reader to question the characters motivations and decisions. It's not for nothing that Death Note is held as such a classic and I for one will not contest that!
