This story is just getting more and more twisted and i’m really enjoying it. Definitely my favourite volume until now
3.5/5 Stars: ‘Death Note’ (Book #3 of ‘Black Edition’) by Tsugumi Ohba.
→ Age Range: Young Adult.
→ Genre: Manga, Criminal Fantasy.
→ Trigger Warnings: Brutality, Homicide, Manipulation.
In-depth Rating:
→ Plot: ★★★
→ Character Development: ★★★★
→ Setting: ★★★
→ Entertainment Level: ★★★
→ Writing: ★★★★
General Comments: An unexpected deviation in plot, incongruous in nature; the un-necessary detour is unfortunately jarring and ultimately disappointing, creating a weak link in a chain of thought-provoking and compelling storytelling. That said, the deduction and reasoning displayed is impressive, and while at times, does not resort to exposition, it certainly carries urgent atmosphere and character development.
Favourite Quote: ‘Dying in the line of duty is heroic, but dying while unemployed is just stupid.’
Time Read: One Day.
→ Audiobook: No.
→ Audiobook Narrator: -

The story took a different turn is this edition with the introduction of another Kira in some ways I liked it because it added a new dimension to the story but I'm also wondering where it's going to go from here so I'm definitely going to carry on with the series, I just hope that the story doesn't start going really over the top or repetitive but I guess I'll find out!
Definitely the most boring volume I've read so far.

This one seemed a bit slower and harder to get into than the previous volumes, but I am excited about the storyline and can't wait to see how this plays out!
awesome, I love L and Misa is growing on me heaps.
I wish Ryuk was in it still

Volume 5: 2 stars
Volume 6: 4 stars
Volume 5 was probably my least favorite volume so far, but Volume 6 was so good. I guess I’m continuing on; I just hope my enjoyment of them stays consistent.

I’m just really enjoying myself reading this, so I need to get my hands on the fourth one asap.
