I’m surprised at how much I liked this one. It was very fast paced and I was satisfied with the ending. It reminded me of a Dateline episode. A woman crashes her car into a pole and around the same time a man is murdered in an abandoned restaurant. The woman survives and is taken to hospital. From there the story unfolds. The main thing that annoyed me about the book was the paranoia and how she deals with it. Who the hell would take before and after pictures? Just getting a surveillance camera! They finally get one in the end, but I felt like damn, you’re smart enough to do everything you did, but it never occurred to you to get some stupid cameras?!?! LMAO
this book was not what i was expecting, but i really enjoyed it!! i was a bit disappointing because i thought the reveal became clear a bit too fast BUT THENNNN the ending
I had to start this book three times because the beginning didn’t grasp me in the slightest but I spent an audible credit on this book so I had to listen to it, right? Okay well, it was a Lifetime movie molded into a book but let me tell you it kept me entertained eventually and the middle to end really made the whole book worth reading.
I wasn’t expecting the outcome of the novel but the last two chapters were horribly abrupt. Could have done with maybe 50 more pages?
