I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Where do I start? this book people! I never thought I needed a book about a supernatural reality show filled with blood and winged men until this book came my way. Varialla is a beautiful and broken woman from a life in which she has always been rejected and to which she feels she does not belong, until she is kidnapped and taken to a world of fantastic creatures to participate in a supernatural reality show and yet she still does not belong. I liked Varialla's character from the beginning because she doesn't let anyone humiliate her (she does it enough by herself already) and she always finds a way out of embarrassing situations with a smile and her head held high. Her relationship with the tall, dark and sexy af protagonist is delicious (and often infuriating, did I mention he has WINGS?) and I loved the tension of the "enemies to lovers" that we are given from the beginning. I love fantasy and the truth is that I am looking forward to learning more about the world of Fit for the Throne and its characters. I laughed a lot, almost dropped my Kindle on the floor in despair and ended up in tears at the end, fingers crossed that this pair has a happy ending.

I really enjoyed the first half of this book. The storyline was interesting and was getting invested in the characters.

However when Loch got introduced, the relationship between Varialla and him got too weird for me, and there is some serious dubious/non consent which put me right off.

This story was amazing. I was not expecting to be hooked into it as much as I was.

It did remind me of the Hunger Games with mythical creatures (centaur, fae, witches, shapeshifters, ect) meet Game of Thrones with the political intrigue and backstabbing.

I finished the book and just was so excited. The book was so well done, some great character development, powerful female characters, and a very well done fast paced story.

Hoping the next book has more on the history of the war and why they have the games.

This book was actually pretty good, and I liked how everyone but the main character knew what she was. If I'm being honest though, I was a little confused for the first couple chapters as it went from 0-60 in 3 seconds.

3/5.

I absolutely loved this book. I love the fact that the MC is a strong black female the plot is amazing, she was available to make decisions that wasn’t the best but still didn’t let it detour her,it is a fantasy book that is sooo well developed. Very unpredictable and I shed a tear or two cause its some heartbreaking parts. And honestly this is just thats every black female should read the author really did her thing with this one thank you.
