i didn’t really want to like this novel just because of the long list of trigger warnings needed for the relationship between the main couple. i’m a plot motivated person, though, and the plot is fascinating. i think i missed a lot of plot points because i read the machine translations, but i still really liked this novel. i think it’s only second to tgcf on the danmeis i’ve read so far.

I literally thought of this book before sleeping for half a year and cried about it. Definitely have to read the trigger warnings before reading since it's not for everyone.

I read this in 10 days in 2020. It was one of the most moving, well-written, and heart-wrenching plots I have read, filled with characters that reached out of my phone screen to steal my heart and breath away.

Maybe after rereading I'll be able to write a better review.

For now, suffice it to say that it's one of my favorite stories right now. I'll patiently wait for the day when I can hold an official english translation in my hands.
