This book was adorable. I liked that Myles and Shelby got a happy story. They both deserved it. I liked that we got to learn what happened to Arriane. Overall this book was good! Excited to read the next!!
I loved the added insight that we got into all the characters! It was all stuff that couldn't be added to the regular story line but still amazing information. Made me love the characters are the more! (=
If you love the Fallen series, you'll love these little mini love stories. But if, like me, you like the Fallen series but not to the extent that you call them your favourite books, then you might find these stories a little dull. I loved Miles and Shelby's story, but towards the end when it's Luce and Daniel again, it gets quite repetitive. I just hope Rapture can kill this tiny blip. Don't get me wrong, Lauren Kate can write. But these stories didn't involve me the way most books do, sorry.
Fallen In Love by Lauren Kate a compliment book of the Fallen series consist of a combination of love stories based on the characters Miles, Shelby, Roland, Arriane and also including one of Luce and Daniel. The authors note: "Fallen in Love is a grand tour of romance that reaches through time and through hearts," pretty much explains exactly what you will encounter. She really captures the emotions that each character is feeling the sadness, longing, pain and of course Love. The details and the way she makes you feel as though your going through the journey of love lost and love acquired with each character is perfect. Its great to get a feel of what the other characters are thinking or feelings and what motivates them to help Luce and Daniel. In the process we get to learn a little bit about them as well, bringing the characters more to life. Overall I loved the book it gives hopeless romantics such as myself those relatable love stories we crave. Can't wait for Rapture to come out.
It was an ok read. Nothing special and on more than one occasion I found myself wanting to punch a wall because the characters annoyed me so much.

All of the bad reviews about this made me skeptical, but I really enjoyed this book! I love reading little glimpses between stories, and this gave me just that. I liked the story between Miles and Shelby, and I thought it was sweet. The poem Shelby wrote was quite terrible! Roland was likable, yet noble, so I liked him even more than before. I was a bit confused about Arianne's story. I thought the ending there was a bit abrupt, hence the 4.5 star review. I did like the story between Luce and Daniel... I thought this was well written and enjoyable.
It was nice to step out of Luce's head for a little while and see the others' perspective. I would have liked to learn more about Cam. Seeing Cam in Roland's story was eye opening, and it made me like Cam so much more than I already did.
