There isn't much to say, except I thought it was lovely and I can't wait for Rapture. Especially after reading the excerpt...and I have to say..Oh Cam, I adore you...This HAS to be one of the best quotes ever!!!!
"Yeah about that, How is it Possible?" Shelby said. "You'd think that kind of thing would leave an impression on the old memorizer."
"Cam's face reddened." ""You try falling for nine days through multiple dimensions and trillions of miles, landing on your face, breaking your wings, rolling around concussed for who knows how long, wandering the desert for decades looking for any clue as to who or what or where you are - and then talk to me about the old memorizer." I had to laugh out loud!

Was quite okay. Didn't love but didn't hate either.
Surprisingly, this was a bit more enjoyable than the rest of the books in this series. Or maybe not that surprising, since for once, the story isn't totally focused on Luce and Daniel's romance.
Part 1: 2 stars
Part 2: 2 stars
Part 3: 3 stars
Part 4: 1 star
Part 1 wasn't that bad, it's the starting point of the romance between Miles and Shelby. It was enjoyable, but I felt that the author pulled this out of nowhere; in the last two books, there was no mention of Shelby liking Miles or Miles liking Shelby or them flirting at all, so I don't understand why she had to put them together. I suppose she felt sorry because of Miles.
Part 2 wasn't bad either, I like Roland but his was your typical love story with a lot of tragedy in sacrifice in it, just like Daniel and Luce's.
Part 3 was my favourite because we finally get to know more about Arriane's past, and the story brings a lot of depth to the character. Yes, it was tragic and tropy, but at least there was some gay representation, which I didn't expect at all from this series.
Part 4 was shit because Luce and Daniel :)

I really enjoyed this and it has me so excited for Rapture now!
Although it was nice to get more of Luce and Daniel's story, and to understand a little bit more about Roland, Arriane, Shelby and Miles, Fallen in Love left me feeling a little let down. Two out of the four stories were so depressing that this book just left me feeling sad.
I usually like side story spinoffs, but this one wasn’t that great. It’s supposed to be a set of short stories explaining the love lives of certain characters in the Fallen series; Miles and Shelby, Rolland, Arriane, and Daniel and Luce. Since every other book in the series goes on ad nauseam about the love of Luce and Daniel, I really could’ve done without them in this book. Instead, it would’ve been interesting to hear of Stephen and Francesca’s love story. Or, I don’t know, CAM’s?! Just ends up being more Luce and Daniel whiny love stuff.
Another reason I didn’t like this book, was the fact that Lauren Kate tries to use it to back pedal on things have already happened in the series. Like the fact that she straight up changes Daniel’s ethnicity, in Passion (book 3), when we Luce traveling to her past lives. This was a big complaint that I had about Passion, because Daniel was always the same guy in every life, Luce was the one that reincarnated over and over. I’m guessing Kate got some serious backlash over this, because in this book (3.5), she off handedly mentions that angels can change their appearance at any time “like Daniel has done with Luce over the years.” Bull crap, Kate. So why haven’t any of the other angels used that skill over the course of the series? You only throw that in now, because you got some serious hate for inexplicably changing Daniel’s physical appearance in Passion.
Next, I also hate that Kate uses this book to explain how Arriane got her scars. Scars that are described to us in the first few chapters of the first book, and we are JUST finding out where they came from?! In a side story? It feels too insignificant, almost like Kate forgot she hadn’t explained it yet and had better throw it in for good measure.
I thought Fallen in Love might be interesting to get to know more of the other main characters, but Kate still finds away to circle it all back to Luce and Daniel, and makes it seem like no one else’s love really matters, and it’s everyone’s job to protect Luce and Daniel’s love. Gag. Luce and Daniel are so needy, and need to be pushed together harder than any other couple I’ve read about!
Note to other authors:
Don’t use a side story to give us answers we’ve been waiting over 1,200 pages to hear, or as a platform to “explain away” content error from previous books. Just don’t. Some readers don’t read the side stories until they’ve completed the main story, and some don’t read them at all.

I feel this book is a must read in the Fallen series. We learn very important details about a lot of characters. Great book!
