This one was SO good!!!! Loved every chapter.

What can I say that I haven't said before? Lt. Dallas is kick ass in any time frame. But this futuristic NYC homicide detective, is my guilty pleasure. You are never sure how it's going to happen but you know someone is going to get hurt when they cross paths with my favorite cop..

I always enjoy the books in this series & seeing familiar characters. As always I love Eve & Roarke’s interactions. I love how he takes care of her & she can be vulnerable with him.

A crime that looks like one of passion. Two wine glasses with one dead. Eve and Peabody are soon swept into a case of deception involving the Order. The Order is a sect that believes only one way, and will do anything to keep it that way. Beliefs include: women are not to be heard, only for childbirth and labor, no racial mixing, etc. Eve and Peabody will have their hands full bringing this Order to justice.

Another good book in the 'In Death Series '. Even though this was book 52, Robb is still coming up with new things. Eve is asked a question at the near end of the book. Is Robb going to take this series a whole nother way? Ready to listen to the next audiobook to find out what happens.

😊 Happy Reading 😊

4.5 stars. Definitely the most intense of the series, and a well-deserved reckoning at the end. Can't wait for the next book already!

Eve ends up with a homicide that turns out to be a lot bigger than anyone anticipated.

This is another case that should definitely be Nadine's next book.
