The story is good, I really enjoyed the plot. But it was VERY slow, and it did get a little boring somewhere between page 150ish and 250ish. I pushed through though because I wanted to know how it ended. I think if it were written by someone like James Patterson, the pace would’ve been better and would have kept you on edge. It was more of a drama/crime than a thriller, in my opinion. — still, I found it good, and I’m giving it 3/5 stars. Would I read again? Nope. It would make a decent film. Just had issues with the pacing, and I think a lot could have been taken out to help with that.

Wat een spannend boek is dit. Heel veel kleine losse lijnen die heel knap in elkaar worden gezet, dus je moet je gedachten er goed bij houden om niets te missen. Echt een enorm goed geschreven boek. Een hele dikke 9.
This is the first book (not novella length) that I’ve listened to the whole thing and I don’t think it’s my preferred mention of reading. Reading with my eyeballs is preferred but I do like being able to switch between reading and listening depending on what I’m reading so I don’t have to stop reading while I do the things I need to do like laundry or cooking or cleaning. I’m an eyeball reader but props to the audiobook readers cause they have peak multitasking skills.
Back to the book. It wasn’t my favorite of North’s but it wasn’t my least favorite. I liked the different POVs and the connection they all had to each other. It felt kinda slow in the middle but it picked up at the end and it felt kinda abrupt.
