In Hellsing, we follow the story of the Hellsing organization and their battle with the Vatican. I found the concepts to be really interesting with this manga. I had fun reading it and couldn't wait for more. I enjoyed the author comments at the end of the story as well. The artwork was stylistically cool. This was a unique story and the pages just flew by. I can't wait to read the entire series.

Hellsing is a tale of hunters and their adventures. Alucard is a vampire hunter who used his vampire abilities to kill with ease. Working for Hellsing, he hunts for the safety of the people and the debt he owes the owner of Hellsing. This book was cool (a vampire hunting other vampires using guns and looking like the Texas Ranger?!) but super short. The six short stories get you in but not engaged enough to read additional books. I found the actual book hard to read too but I think thats manga inexperience and nothing else.

I remember this being bloody and very violent, but not this bloody and violent. It might explain why I never read more than like one or two volumes in the series, and watched like a single episode of the anime. It might've also been because of the art style, it's a bit weird (?). Like the anatomy is off in terms of the sizes of heads and the length of arms especially. I've heard good things about Hellsing, so I think I'll read some more of the series just to see if I like it.
