Pretend You’re Mine pulled me in from the beginning. Harper is starting over and landed in Benevolence.

Where Harper is spirited, sassy, and wants a home Luke is against all of it. He does agree to a fake relationship to hold off his family matchmaking.

This book has so much packed into one book. From one bed, loss of a family member, ptsd, grief and loss, military deployment, found family and all the feels.

I laughed out loud, I cried, and a hoped for all to heal and find their happy ending. It pulled every heartstring! I also loved Aldo and Gloria and can’t wait to read their story next!

I received an arc for review, all opinions are my own and given freely.

4.5 stars!!
Omg this book gave me so many ups and downs. I cried a few times but it’s not a full 5 stars just cause there was some points that annoyed me. I feel like when Harper entered Luke’s life it was instantly better, she’s honestly the reason for everything. Luke may be an idiot but I love them sm! They are so cute together and I’m so glad at the end they made up and he finally put that guy in his place that was stalking Harper

I was pretty much hooked on the first chapter. Why I don’t know? I legit was laughing and crying at parts of the book.

I love Lucy Score books, she always does small town romances the best!

Small town, relationship of convenience and forced proximity are some of my favourite tropes and they were done well!!! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

I just wish this was in dual POV, that may have gave it a 5 as I struggle to give romances that aren’t in that style any higher than a 4.
