These are all pretty funny just have to suspend reality a little and overlook way too many inner dialogues about her uterus

Trigger warning for death of a loved one.
I spent half this book in tears

I love this authors writing style and humor so for that reason I rated it 3 stars. However, I had a huge issue with the main plot of this book. It would have been nice of him to switch seats with her so that she could see her father before he literally died, but he decided he would only do it if she would give up her sketch book so that he could steal her designs. It just felt gross and like he was taking advantage of a serious situation. Then he had the nerve to ask her for her number. She made it clear she wasn't interested. Later when she tries to get it back (offers to pay him back for the ticket), he blackmails her into..... Kissing him. Over and over and over. That's fucked up.
GAH! I wanted to love this book! The female character was a dumb jerk who kept repeating the same catch phrases over and over! It was to chase and catch for my liking.
I enjoyed the first couple books in the series. This book was dull.
3.25 ★
i seriously loved the first two books in this series, but this one really struggled to hold my interest. i think it was because i found the majority of the characters to be exhausting to read about, especially the heroine. her emotions were all over the place, and i just grew tired of being in her head. the romance was okay, but again, i would’ve liked a few more chapters from the hero’s pov instead of the heroine’s. not my favorite book from this author, though perhaps others might feel differently!

2.5 ⭐ This book was acting as my deciding factor in whether or not I would continue pursuing this authors' books, and the answer is that I will not be!
There were some parts that were fun, but the main characters were awful and every decision made was the one that made the least sense for the situation. The ML goal is literally stated to be to get the FL to hate him so much that she loves him, and that is the dumbest shit I've ever heard.
After 3 books back to back from this author I can say that she leans HEAVILY into stereotypes, and in the one we got to see the gay ones, so I almost have Stereotype Bingo done with the addition of the gay bff who loves Sex and the City stereotype. She is so bad about writing these that I was legitimately surprised she didn't make the british guy talk like the chimney sweep from Mary Poppins like she did in the last book, but he ended up being the gay character so maybe she thought it would be overkill.
