So I read this series in order, reading this last. While I LOVED the addition of the dual perspective to this story (who doesn’t want to swoon over a Mooney in love Italian man?), I found the woman a smidge annoying. I still love this author’s writing and I’m sure a lot of what I didn’t like was just the character being cautious after being stood up at the alter. Still a delightful story and such a sweet couple that get their happy ending!

Matteo??? SIGN ME UP. Again, this series rocked me to my core. It was the perfect slow burn. I will definitely be trying more looking for similar recs, please help!

So this story started off with kimber getting left by a dumb dumb that I know so far I just started reading the book but I think he was only going to marry her to get his money from his parents. After everything she get a letter from home about her father is about to die so what she do she rush to get the airport on time. She run into a gentleman who is hot as hell but here the issue she doesn’t want anything to do with him but here is the kicker he is going to be in her life for forever because she found out that he is her ex-stepbrother what the what. So they hate each other at first but then fall in love with each other. #bookstagram #books #bookworm #booklover #bookish #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookblogging #booktok #igreads #insttabooks #booksbookboooks #kindlepaperwhite #bookobsessed #bookstagrammer

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, slow burn romances are my least favorite kind of romances, yet somehow I always manage to end up reading them. That being said, nobody does slow burn better than JT Geissinger. I thought Melt For You was my favorite it of the three novels in this series but it’s officially been unseated by Ache for You. I’m absolutely, completely obsessed with Kimber, even when she was being annoyingly irrational. The woman was hilarious.

And Matteo? Please, my ovaries are weeping. JT truly rights some of the most amazing male love interests I’ve ever read and I always find myself being utterly obsessed with them. Matteo was definitely no exception. I love a man who’s absolutely straightforward and says what he means and what he wants while simultaneously forcing your ovaries into spontaneous combustion.

The tension between these two was absolutely and ridiculous off the charts from the very beginning to the absolute end and when they finally got together? It was fantastic.

Everything about this was perfect. I have never been disappointed by anything JT has written and I scarcely thing I ever will be. The woman is pure magic with a pen.
