A beautiful tale of historical fiction and nature. The giraffes make the story. Love and wonder along with the stories of the people who love them. Loved the adventure of it.

I had this book on my list since it first came out, but I never got around to reading it until I found it in a box of free books while walking the dogs. I am so glad because it was a wonderful story.
