5 MILLION TRILLION STARS!!!!!
WOW! This books making me think about after I've read it. I gonna read it again and buy the physical copy.
Now I want to watch the movie.
This doesn't hold back any punches, its everything you need in a good book. Cliff hangers at the end of each chapter, romance, fights, teenagers, sex, teenage problems, sexuality.... The WORKS!!!
Characters.
Charlie, is this werid, out going, clever boy. Who is hanging out with seniors and acting just one. Even tho he's a freshman. Man, the way he is with his friends, girlfriends, and sex. He comes across real coy about it all. By golly he's an emotional guy, and that is one of perks of loving Charlie as a character.
Sam, im not to sure really. I felt there should be more development with her. But she is this nice, pretty girl who happens to be Charlies friends sister. But she is level headed and strong headed as well. She comes across at the beginning as seeing Charlie as a cute junior crush and plays with his feelings abit. Which I ddnt like, this made me think twice about Sam, hopefully Emma Watson brings more to this character in the movie. #FingersCross
Patrick, would be the best friend to have. Drama never runs dry with Patrick and it seemed hes the one something instresting happens too. But however, i ddnt like how at time hes treated Charlie, and all Charlie wanted was him to talk too. But he;ll just leave Charlie in the dark most of the time. But I still like Patrick,
This book is gonna stay with me forever. LOVE IT! (:

I love books that make me realize and learn so many things while I read them.

By far one of my favorite books I've ever read. I first read this at the age of 13, and again at the age of 20 and it is amazing how differently I read the book. I recommend this to anyone!

This movie reminded me of the movie Lucas. I watched Charlie Bartlett while I was reading this, and there are some connections there as well. I'm always into relationships where older kids and younger kids take care of each other. High school is crazy and cruel, but there are these moments of love that are so big, because only teens have so much reckless love to squander. Loved the musical references and the mixed tapes. Oh man.

I loved this book the first time I read it, I loved the movie, and I loved it even more the second time I read it. Chbosky portrayed the characters, especially Charlie, to be extremely relatable in several ways. The book is written from the perspective of Charlie, as though he's writing letters to a friend. This diary format provides deep insight into Charlie's thoughts and feelings as he navigates high school while growing up around older friends and a dysfunctional family.
