I had a lot of expectations going into this book after reading and absolutely loving the first however I found it difficult to get into. The second half of the book is a lot better, but I don't think anything will be the first one.

There was slightly more plot, world, and character development in this one verses the first, but there are still some things I’m confused about or just feel we’re absolutely unnecessary. This one kept me engaged more than the first one did though, and I am interested to see what happens in the next.

Took awhile to finish this one just due to life and timing of everything, so it was a little rough but I still really enjoyed it. This cliff hanger might kill me though.
