ARC Review

If you love mafia romances, I highly recommend Isabella! ( and Matteo )
Each book in this series is a standalone.

Book 2 we get Isabella and Nico. Two children of different mafia families. Boy falls for girl. Girl falls for boy. Boy breaks girls heart to protect her.

Grovels years later. Isabella doesn’t make it easy (that’s our girl) Nico loves our girl and is willing to do anything for her and protect. Even if he has to go against his own father.

Danger, romance and don’t worry.. there’s a happy ending.

Isabella is out now on KU!! Read it today!!

So freaking good! I love Nicco and Izzy. The way he left her heartbroken was so sad. The breakup had me feeling all miserable and depressed. It annoyed me and kinda triggered me a bit. I read another mafia story where the MMC did a similar thing to the FMC. Only he really did cheat on her. Left a real bad taste in my mouth. So FYI, Nicco DID NOT cheat on Izzy and remained faithful for the three years he was gone. Just going to put that little spoiler out there because I almost flipped out while reading the breakup scene. LOL.

I like how the author depicted Izzy's anger and rage when Nicco came back trying to talk to her. She didn't give in to him immediately. Although Izzy was naive about her brothers' and Nicco's mafia life (like she knew they kill people and what not. She just didn't see it with her own eyes), she is smart and can hold her own.

This book touched on Enzo a bit more and I am foaming at the mouth waiting for his story. He already sounds dangerously delicious.

I absolutely loved Isabella. I love that she gave Nicco a second chance. it broke my heart that she suffered so much. but the fact they ended up together and so happy made my day.

Seriously, I JUMPED to read this book! I read the first one, Matteo, and loved the story and flow. So when Priceton announced 2 more books that involved Matteo’s siblings, I got excited for the continuation of this mafia world. I adored Isabella in the first book, how welcoming she was to Lux. And to get a book focused on here, hell yeah I want it! Gotta say, Princeton did not disappoint with this one either!

So, we got Isabella (which by the way, LOVE that she is never called Bella. It’s a personal thing! Don’t freak out!) who is sister to Matteo (go read the first book if you enjoy mafia romances TRUST ME). And we meet her soulmate, Nicco, who is a total green flag! BUT he sadly had to break her heart to protect her from his father before leaving to Sicily, you know the danger of having a greedy mafia dad. Some years go by and guess who is back for their queen AND to become the next Don, whether Dad likes it or not! Oh side note to all this, Isabella’s family HATES Nicco’s family because his dad unalived her parents. Yeah, not as easy as one would think to get your girl back and become the new Don.

Now, I gotta admit, Nicco stole my heart and I can see why Isabella is stuck on him because dude is a KEEPER! Not trying to spoil more than I already have, but the dude got a place and decorated it the way Isabella told him she would back in the early days! HE LEARNED HOW TO MAKE GELATO BECAUSE IT’S HER FAVORITE! And Isabella, is such a sweetheart AND a badaxx when she needs to be! There is so much more I wanna say about these two but it's gonna be spoilers. And the spice! Ok, I give it a three because of the amount there is BUT it is sooo delicious and as you read you can feel how much they crave each other!

All in all, this has become my favorite between Matteo and Isabella. Now, do you NEED to read the first one? Maybe not BUT I say yes if you really wanna dive into the story’s world from the start, at least to get more of the background behind the characters and their connections. And of course I plan on reading the third book! I mean it’s time to meet Enzo more. And if I am assuming correctly, at the end of Isabella, we probably got a hint of who Enzo’s FMC will be…ASSUMING! But yeah go read and catch up for when Enzo comes out!

🩷Second chance
🖤Mafia romance
🩷Rival families
🖤Forbidden love
🩷Angst
🖤Secret relationship

I absolutely loved the previous book, Matteo, so I was very excited going into this. The tension between Isabella and Niccolo was palpable in the previous book, which only made me want to read this one more.

I love the rival families, forbidden love and secret relationship aspect of this book. The angst between our main characters was something different.

I really like Isabella, she is such her own person. Yet, she was limiting herself and not reaching her full potential until certain someone just encouraged her to reach for her dreams. Not him making her dreams come true, but supporting her and encouraging her to do what she wants. I really loved that about Niccolo.

And this man really loves his woman, even at the time when she hated his guts, which I will say was more than fair! The spice was sizzling and certain bathroom escapades were something memorable. 😏🌶️

Overall, I enjoyed this book and I am very excited for Enzo’s book next, because he is such a character! 🤭

Thank you T. Princeton for letting me ARC read your beautiful book. 🫶🏼

Just when I think Matteo was my favorite mafia romance book, T. Priceton hits us with Isabella!  I love everything about Priceton’s writing style.  The action, the dialogue, the romance, the way the side characters shine in their own light, and the way the bad guys give you the ick.  I immediately get sucked into her books and usually read the entire book in one or two sittings because I just can’t put them down!

Isabella’s story was really exciting, and her romance with Nicco is the perfect tug of war for her personality.  She is such a sassy, independent woman, and for her to be so strong when Nicco comes back in the picture is perfection.  I enjoyed the way Nicco had to work hard to get her attention again, and then the passion with the final wall broke down was exhilarating.  Their love story is so sweet despite the fact that they are from dueling families.

Another thing I loved about this story was how Matteo and Lux were big players in this book.  I missed them, and it was so great to have them so active in Isabella’s story!  I will say, though, Enzo is probably my favorite DiMaggio sibling, so I’m really looking forward to his story in the next book!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, go grab this book (and Matteo) and read it ASAP!  You will be in for quite a ride, and you will thank me after. 😉

Thank you @tpriceton for sending me an advanced reader copy of Isabella! I am a huge fan of yours and am so honored! ❤️
