I love Reyna and Kianthe, and I'm excited (and saddened) that there's only one more book in this series.

When I joked on my first review about how much I love annoying monarchs with tea antics, I didn't realize

~~that Rebecca Thorne clearly read my comment and took inspiration, and~~ that said monarch would be overthrown lol

These books are higher stakes/less cozy than most cozy fantasy, and this book in particular had very little cozy in it. But it is still a happy ending with loveable characters.

Nice cliffhanger, now I'm extra excited for the fourth book.

DID NOT FINISH: 21%

Honestly a good book, however I didn’t know this was book three in the series, you can read these as stand alone per the author however I feel that had I read the first two books I’d feel more connected. Will come back around to this after I read the first two books!
