Its a fun unserious read, good pallet cleanser for when you're reading dark or heavy stuff. lots of spice and still somehow wholesome and cute

Yes you have to suspend real world expectations but it delivers what it promises: poly chaos, revenge, villain energy and the smut I love and anticipate with any Katee Robert book. Zaddy Hades, powerful but emotionally vulnerable Meg and golden retriever Hercules. Beautiful kinky nonsense, would recommend!

i have never been a person that's like "oh! poly relationship! sign me up!" but this book /did/ something to me, man. the way meg/hades are so broken and hercules just fits into the spaces they've let loom untouched- the way they fit together seamlessly without taking away from any individual dynamic- is so fascinating i found myself eagerly awaiting their next moments together. and i mean, the kinks weren't half bad either. i was nervous bc i adore meg and was curious how this book would be from her pov but it was Perfect and i'm already eager for more of her.

This was technically a re-read for me as I did the audiobook a few years ago but wow it was so worth it. The characters feel so much better the second round through and seeing all the author annotations was really fascinating and felt like it pulled the story together in a way I didn't know I needed. The art is absolutely gorgeous. Even the layout of the chapters and the type font are beautiful and obviously very intentionally chosen. This is my first time seeing the bonus shorts and that alone was worth re-reading the books. Overall lots of praise for this book.
The dynamic between these three plays such a fine line but does it so well. The power dynamic and the tension feels accurate. They're so messy but so real and the spice is unbelievable. Even the miscommunication trope is done so well that I'd almost not even call it that. It just feels like real dysfunctional messy communication that could happen not the frustrating "why won't you just say the stupid thing" that happen in other books.
Having read all of the currently published Olympus books makes all the little hints in this one so much better and I just want more. So many questions! I love it.

loved the trio, but i personatly did not like their sexual interactions in the more subdom parts. but there is a moment in the book when they were not performing and just had normal trio sex, that part was def my fav. their subdom interactions were weird. FOR ME. IN MY OPINION.
also, i wanted a hercules hades sex scene so much and it was NOT delivered. i feel like these two had more chemestry than hercules and meg.
