Reading this out loud for class was an experience. Over all one of my favorite new plays I have been introduced to this year.

great dialogue, not so much a story, but as a play i think it's pretty good.
maybe it should be performed and not read. you don't get much from reading it, and now i have to think the movie version is also 40 minutes long & is just everyone talking over each other
Definitely not my style -I'm a Shakespeare kind of gal-, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. It never feels dull, as Mamet's style is fast-paced and surprising.
A couple of funny scenes, but mostly just a couple of schmucks getting introduced to karma.
quick read. didn’t like the characters, the content, the writing style sort of but it’s just… idk not good? like i can see it being a “good” play in the 1950s but nowadays it’s just kinda gross to read. maybe that’s the point but i didn’t enjoy it. also a lot of the characters feel the same, there’s one or two that have actual differences but the rest blend into each other.

Intense psychological drama is one of Mamet's best. Reading it is terrific. Seeing it acted takes it to a whole new level.
