This book keeps you enthralled until the very end!
From the very first chapter I was both intrigued and hooked. Abby is such a strong female character and while Cam can be a jerk there are moments where you get a glimpse of just how deep and complex his character truly is and dammit if he isn’t a great book boyfriend. I can’t wait to finish the series.

The Young and the Cruel
Let me start by saying, this book is very triggery and is not going to be kosher with most people. It’s dark and messed up and you have to be at least a little screwed in the head to love it like I did. The heroine (and others in the book) are made to go through so many horrors by both the hero(es?) and other characters that you want to look away. But you can’t.
Even though she goes through all of these horrible things, our heroine Abby is no angel herself. She has the same killer instinct as her family and friends and she’s willing to do what it takes for revenge and/or justice, no matter how despicable. Her grey maybe lighter than the others’, but the lines are all blurred and no one is pure. They’re all manipulative and have their own hidden agendas. And did I mention they are all teenagers? Because they are, all of them. Except the parents. It’s crazy sauce, alright.
This is like a combination of Cruel Intentions (the movie) and your average bully romance on steroids, y’all. It is dark and intense and effed up and bananas, like a book of this kind should be. In fact, I started out critical of the prologue (for spoilery reasons I won’t mention), but soon I was so damn hooked! Also beware of brutal cliffhanger, and the next book comes out in August.

Omg the drama... It is like a reality show book. The twists keep coming and the world is un-f*cking-believable. But the book inspires a morbid curiosity, so even though I read the ending early on I still wanted to see how it gets there.
How this book has 4.43 is magical. There must be hella selection bias, where only fans read it and love it and rate it 5 star. If this goes to general public the rating will drop like a whale from space.

This book rocked it! The Characters are hot, the story is riveting! It will capture your attention from page one. I love the depth of the characters even the villains. Man this book makes me a total bookwh*re! I love Cam but man... Sawyer & Jackson and maybe a dash of Drew... I'm not kidding when I say there are plenty of hot men to go around. Cruel Intention is an edge of your seat page-turner you will devour in one sitting. I love Abby's strength and tenacity. This is my first book by this author and I can't wait for the next one! Must Read!
Audiobook Review
I love everything Siobhan touches.. this is my first time listening to this book although I’ve read the whole series.
I thought Carly was an excellent Abby and she showed all the different sides of Abby’s emotions. Now Tor had a great and deep voice that came through, I will say i think his voice sounded older than the character but I still enjoyed the performance a lot.
That cliffhanger though… on to book 2

*series review- books 1-3*
Phew. This series is tough to read. Like very emotionally traumatic. I love Siobhan’s writing style and her ability to create such vastly different stories. Reading this series you would never guess it’s the same author who wrote The Alinthia Chronicles. It’s wild. ANYWAY, back to my review. I simultaneously struggled to read this while also being unable to put it down. The content is incredibly dark and triggering, and things do not start looking up until book 3. Do not expect any kind of resolution or HEA in books 1 or 2. Some of the events that unfold are extremely difficult to read and imagine, especially in book 2 (I cried multiple times). There is a light at the end of the tunnel and this is a romance so we of course get an HEA, so knowing that definitely helped me to get through.
If you like dark romance then you’ll be into this. It’s labeled as bully romance, however technically all the peer players are on an even level when it comes to power so I wouldn’t actually categorize it as bully. For me, bully requires an uneven power structure and that really isn’t the case here, there also isn’t a slew of relentless ‘bully pranking’ like you’d normally find in that genre. I think I would label this as a dark contemporary enemies to lovers.
Overall, I think this series is very well written. The plot is well-developed, the character development is good, and I liked the relationship development between H and h.
I finished the series with a few unanswered questions, but it looks like the author has saved those morsels for a couple stand-alones.

BULLY ROMANCE?? YES please! This was the first book in the Rydeville High Elite series and a great start at that. I absolutely love Siobhan Davis and I've been a huge fan for a while now. I really enjoyed this book a lot, it's definitely not your typical HS romance, even though it is set in HS. It's very mature, which makes it more enjoyable for me! This book was filled with so many goodies that made this story a huge page turner. It had a bull romance, it had angst, dual POVs, drama and a storyline that just kept you wanting to read more. I could not get enough of Abigail or Abby, I loved her character so much! She was strong-willed, sassy and overall made things kinda funny. Also don't get me start with that with that prologue!! Camden or Cam was just wow. He was someone who I wasn't the biggest fan of when we really get introduced to, but I definitely learned to love his character. I enjoyed him and Abby together so much! Their chemistry was... amazing! This story is just so different and so good, I loved every minute of this story and can't wait to see the direction the rest of this series goes in.
* I received this arc in exchange for an honest review. Thank you so much Siobhan Davis and Social Butterfly for this opportunity!*

All sorts of twists coming out left and right! If you like reading dark bully romances, this one is absolutely it.
I don't even know where to start, but everything that went down in this book, I'd name it "trust absolutely no one". Shoot, don't even trust yourself. Everyone has a motive and they're all willing to take anyone down to get what they want.
More than anything, Abby just wants to be free of prison that she's trapped in by her father. Such a horrible man that guy is and he's definitely on my sh*t list. Abby has been working behind the scenes to find something that'll take down her father. But she's not the only one.
When two forces work together, a lot of questions and red flags are there ... and a bunch of betrayals to make your head spin.
With a cliffhanger ending, I'm glad I waited to start this series. I have no idea what I'm feeling, but anxiety for what's to come with Abby.
Cruel Intentions is definitely not for everyone, there's a ton of TW. Some scenes are a bit graphic, don't hesitate to ask for the TW.
Onto book 2 because I'm invested.
