All sorts of twists coming out left and right! If you like reading dark bully romances, this one is absolutely it.

I don't even know where to start, but everything that went down in this book, I'd name it "trust absolutely no one". Shoot, don't even trust yourself. Everyone has a motive and they're all willing to take anyone down to get what they want.

More than anything, Abby just wants to be free of prison that she's trapped in by her father. Such a horrible man that guy is and he's definitely on my sh*t list. Abby has been working behind the scenes to find something that'll take down her father. But she's not the only one.

When two forces work together, a lot of questions and red flags are there ... and a bunch of betrayals to make your head spin.

With a cliffhanger ending, I'm glad I waited to start this series. I have no idea what I'm feeling, but anxiety for what's to come with Abby.

Cruel Intentions is definitely not for everyone, there's a ton of TW. Some scenes are a bit graphic, don't hesitate to ask for the TW.

Onto book 2 because I'm invested.

5 WHOA CROWNS

I don’t even know what I just read. I do. That is my hyperbolic nature coming out, but my mind is jumbled mess. Honestly. What?!

The new elite, what can I say. I love them. Should I ? Probably not, but I don’t care. I do. My rebel heart loves them. Jackson with his playboy heart, Cam with his moodiness, and Sawyer with his stoic, yet ethical soul. I LOVE THEM. They are deplorable at times, but there are also moments that show their heart and those are the one I cling to.

The old elite, well, I love some of them, but like the heroine, I’m not quite sure who is trustworthy. They are corrupt and vile and have messed up values, but when you are raised by the corrupt, what do you expect. I do hope the ones that seem good remain so, but I’m not holding my breath.

The chemistry between Cam and Abby is straight up FIRE. I have no other words for it. Is he always kind? No, this is a bully romance. There are a lot of moments where my heart broke for Abby, but she is a fighter, even if there are times when she has to bite her tongue and take it. She has gumption and I love that in a heroine.

This story utterly captivated me. I couldn’t put it down. You know the kind of story where you read a page a stop light, hide from your kids so you can read uninterrupted. That was this. I’m dying for the next book, and I’m not even done processing this one. If you love a bully romance, you NEED THIS BOOK!

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the twists in this story. I liked seeing the new elite challenging the original elite. I wasn’t expecting that ending! I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

I listened to the audiobook and even though it was only 7.5 hours it felt loooong!
It was wishy washy and the bullying was inconsistent at best.
The heroine is supposed to be strong but does everything to please other people.
The cliffhanger at the end of the book is good

As I do a reread I realized a review never got posted. I still remember the first time I read this and the feelings I experienced. This is a series I go back to over and over again. The anger, the tears, the happy feelings I get as everything starts to unfold. The cliffhanger is so bad but this book and series is worth all the pain. Absolutely love this book and is one of my top recommendations.

Decent Bully romance

With most bully romances, there's a basic format that's followed. But it's always interesting to see which twist and surprise each individual author will add to that format. This one had a heroine who had to go against a group of bullies, but Abby was also fighting her family and old traditions. She was feisty and didn't back down, which I always love in a female lead. And, like in other books, she finds some sick fascination with her bullies. She doesn't understand it, but something also happens to change the bullies mind about the female lead. This story had its own set of twists and turns, and the way it played out in the end was a nice little surprise

Audiobook Review

I love everything Siobhan touches.. this is my first time listening to this book although I’ve read the whole series.

I thought Carly was an excellent Abby and she showed all the different sides of Abby’s emotions. Now Tor had a great and deep voice that came through, I will say i think his voice sounded older than the character but I still enjoyed the performance a lot.

That cliffhanger though… on to book 2

Gut wrenching

This book had my breath in my throat and my gut in twists. A great take on elite and bully romance. On pins and needles for book 2. The author really has an eloquent way of making ypu feel as if you're living the scene.
