It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. A must read for anyone, but especially if you are interested in video games. It’s so emotional and the characters are so deep and well written. Truly an amazing book.

I was really looking forward to this book but unfortunately I was unable to really invest myself in the story due to my inability to connect or really even like the characters. For a book meant to be centred about love I felt the characters themselves didn’t connect authentically with another and I myself therefore couldn’t embrace Sadie or Sam. At the end of it all, I felt no satisfaction with their development and I was left really wanting more

Some truly wonderful moments regarding representation of minority groups, descriptions of chronic pain, and grief. Quite a few triggering points too though so please read the TW if that might be hard for you! Wonderful to finally have

It wasn't what I was expecting amd im not a gamer so not something i know much about, but I liked the writing and the gaming theme was actually really interesting and cleverly done. I struggled with Sadie's character and I found the ending a bit disappointing.
