The mafia business/smut ratio was PERFECT. The mystery with Daniel's disappearance, the key 5 years later, all the clues that led to the ending!

I’ve been wanting to read this for a long time and I’m so glad I finally read it! Kage is a drool-worthy MMC. Ooof 🥵. The spice is incredible and the way he falls first and pines so hard is fantastic. I found myself also really liking Natalie, our FMC. She witty and smart and funny. She’s not your typical FMC, at least not in my opinion, and I really liked that. I enjoyed their banter and emotional connection and journey. Sloane snd Nat are a great best friend pair and I really enjoyed their friendship and communication. I didn’t realize these are interconnected standalones but I’ll definitely be reading Sloane’s story next!
