Hmm... good book. It was interesting, but the world could have been better sketched out. Some of the characters where not as fleshed out as others (cough. Creagan. Mott. Cough.) I hate Roden so much. He is a total jerk. Betrayal, treachery that little... I'll stop there. The two major plot twists were good. I liked the swap. But, for that bit, the first person point of view was not the best. And the treachery... not as unexpected but good none the less.

OMG TWISSST!!! I like did and didn’t see that coming at the same time. Such a great book, Lovve Ittt, 5 out of 5 stars
Enjoyed the story, wish the writing were better. I was distracted by misplaced modifiers, heavy-handed plotting, and a completely unwarranted POV change in a late chapter. Can't Scholastic afford to hire editors anymore? Also, it was hard to tell if this was intended for juvenile or young-adult audiences - it sits awkwardly between, with YA elements in a juvenile style.

This book started off slow, but got really good. The ending was a little bit confusing though.

what a light, fun read. i can't wrap my head around four more books to go for a story i'd have been happy to see over by the last page of the book, but am i in for the ride!
