More and more secrets come spilling out as Violet provokes Idun in an attempt to protect the “innocent” monsters. Tensions are mounting, Idun’s getting more and more malicious, and it’s only a matter of time before she gets bored of playing within the laws and wages war to get the alphas back. Because she still sees the four men as hers, even after 1000 years.
I somehow have both no words and ALL THE WORDS to describe this book!
Twists and turns, secrets upon secrets, infuriating explanations! Honestly there were times that I was like “just stop talking in fucking circles and going off on tangents!” - and that was aimed at the characters not the author, because she purposefully wrote them that way. My god that was frustrating.

This was hard for me to get into and it dropped a ton of information but it's a good ending.

<b>Series is a 5 star series overall!! </b>
This was the final book of this series, and boy was is a doozy. All the things I had questions about, or as Violet would say, <i> I put a freaking pin in it, </i> finally got answered in this book. We also FINALLY got to see what Violet's monster was, and it was honestly not what I had expected - but I'm also not surprised once we got all the information.
The best part about this book was that we got a glimpse into life right after the dust settled, and also we got a peak at to what it looked like 30 years after the events. To say it warmed my heart, and made me so happy is the least I can say.

...And it's over. I wish this story could have gone longer but 600+ pages of this book was so good and satisfying. ATPM is now one of my favorite series.
