A cute follow up to the established couples in the series.  OMG Ian.

I don't usually like this kind of story, but this was very well done.

First, this was a lot longer than I expected!
Second, while I enjoyed it (especially the Ian&Beth plotline), it was kind of all over the place. I didn't like how some people had like... one scene from their POV, and then nothing. It felt too open.
And the time jumps... *shrug*
All in all, I enjoyed it, but I like to read books better. LOL

So adorable!

Hart is so in love with Eleanor, and Ian is the most romantic man who ever breathed!

Full of Mackenzie charm. I tend not to read Christmas stories, usually they feel to me like a long filler chapter. However this short sweet story was a delight to read. What happens when Beth accidentally drops one of Ian's vases and it shatters into hundreds of pieces? Does Ian love his Chinese vases more than anything or anyone in the world? The Mackenzie clan comes to the rescue because this family is all about watching out for each other. It was lovely and fun to read. And in the mix, Eleanor is about to give birth. And Ian gave Beth the answer to whether or not he treasures more his vases than his family and Beth and the children couldn't have been happier.

Louisa and Mr Fellows might have their own book if those stolen kisses are any indication. I enjoyed this book very much.

Absolutely amazing. This Xmas story has every member if the family and friends involved. Loved each family getting their own small piece in book and some hidden moments for some characters to come.

I’ve been really enjoying the entire MacKenzies & McBrides series. The MacKenzie brothers are a great combination of sexy, alpha, compassionate Scottish heroes with some down to earth, lovely heroines. A MacKenzie Family Christmas is a great novella for everyone who has enjoyed the series so far. I do not recommend starting here, this story revisits the romances built in earlier stories so it would be very hard to understand what is going on. As someone who’s enjoyed the entire series until the point I loved getting a chance to see the characters that I love and a quick glance at the stories that are coming next. And the narrator on the audio books was wonderful. Great read!

Ok so I have not read a single book in this series, I do have book 1 though..Still it worked perfectly like this :)

I may not know who anyone except Ian is (that is the book I have). But it was still fun to see couples being in love, having babies and worrying about xmas. As Ian's bowl breaks and his wife is scared he will go into himself again, and then the rest of the family worries too.

A nice xmas novella :)

Very sweet and a great companion to the previous book in the MacKenzie/Highland Pleasures series. It takes place in the weeks leading up to the birth of Eleanor and Hart's baby spanning Christmas and Hogmanay (a big deal in Scotland) so the entire extended family is there including Inspector Fellowes and David Fleming (could have done without David and his I-sill-love-Eleanor drivel but he was needed for a plot point). It's a mite choppy since Ashley gets around to each of the four brothers/wives and their children as well as catching up with Daniel, Fellowes, and Sinclair McBride (I'm assuming he has a book in the works, too).

A bit of warning though: the fifth book in the series [b:The Seduction of Elliot McBride|12240431|The Seduction of Elliot McBride (Highland Pleasures, #5)|Jennifer Ashley|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1353298368s/12240431.jpg|17214469] does not arrive until December 31 and there may be a little spoiler for that book in this novella.
