I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish, although i dont really get how the lift was the time machine or how mrs.smith could still be in Autumn's appartment a year in the future(because Mickey was not in a coma and her parents didn't lose their jobs, and they didn't sell their timeshare etc.), i really couldn't put it down. I spent the whole of today, in school, distracted because i was thinking about possible plot lines for the book ending (: Amazing book, well done Liz Kessler.

so so good omg. I know this is middle grade fiction but I used to LOVE Liz Kessley back in the day (shoutout to Emily Windsnap & Phillipa Fisher), but I genuinely enjoyed this read so much, and its perfect for the fall teehee

I picked this book up for my daughter since she is a fan of Doctor Who. I started reading it with her and was hooked so I had to finish myself. I was impressed about how much the book dealt with evolution of relationships when traumatic events occur. It was very touching and not too predictable. Overall a good introduction for young readers to more sophisticated literature.

Didn't realize this was a Young Adult novel. So I think I would have really enjoyed this one more as a teen of course. A good one for considering how you would change the past if you could time travel on a magic elevator.
