It took me a bit to get into the flow of the book, the protagonist Rose can be a little hard to get along with. Her actions were also... Questionable at times which had me cringing sometimes. I enjoyed the mystery and how it came together, although tying all the characters together at the end got a little overwhelming with the names getting changed and extra characters. But overall I enjoyed it.

A very interesting read, with the complexity and suspense of a mystery novel, but with the added danger of dangerous plants and irregular characters. I very much enjoyed the storyline, though at times I found it difficult to relate to the main character, perhaps because she is written as odd and perhaps (though not explicitly stated) neurodivergent. Nevertheless I would highly recommend.
