redemption at its finest
As predicted, this series picked up. Usually the sisters give us something good by the third book, though the endings are almost always enough to raise a star. This one was full of tension and excitement, from the cliff of the last book to the reveals and growth of this one. There is one story line that continues to get the short stick and I was really hoping for more than how it was temporarily ended in this book. I was kind of hoping for rogue to make some better stands for her boys in this one but I’m hoping the cliffhanger will make up for it in the next installment.

Holy fuck my anxiety is so high with these books! I am obsessing! It's been 3 days of Harlequin crew books and I can't stop!
This one was hot, bossy and giving me life! Now I need book 4.
Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️/ 5

So another amazing book by C&S! I love this series so much and have been waiting on pins and needles for Carnival Hill after that huge cliffhanger in Dead Man's Isle. As always, their books have lots of funny moments to balance out the action and steam. I feel like Carnival Hill went a little darker than I expected.
The world building and characters are created beautifully. There is so much feeling put into these characters, that I feel like I am living all of their emotions. There were a few parts that I cried, and I never cry when reading.
This one picks up where Dead Man's Isle left off and everyone trying to sort through everything. Emotions are running high throughout the whole book and the action is nonstop from page one.
Rogue is a favorite FMC of all time for me. She's hilarious, loves hard, stands up for herself and tells everyone like it is, even if it lands her in hot water. I love the guys too, even if Fox needs to get it together.
I am not completely sure how I feel about the end. I thought maybe something like that was coming, but the way it was done kinda crushed my heart. I was not ready for it to end and cannot wait for the next book.

TITLE: Carnival Hill
GENRE: New Adult Romance
AUTHOR(s): Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti
TROPE: Enemies-to-Lovers, Dark Romance
TYPE: Series (Harlequin Crew Book 3)
POV: Multiple POV
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
Oh, the emotions and angst I felt as I read Carnival Hill! My heart ached for Rogue and her pain a couple of times in this book. The twists kept coming, and I could not put this book down. Even when I stopped reading to get some sleep, this book still rattled around in my head! The chemistry between Rogue and her boys leads to some very spicy scenes making the whole thing come together as a 5 / 5 Star read. It is currently 1 AM, and I am seriously considering jumping into the next book rather than sleeping so that I can find out what happens next after that gut-reaching cliffhanger.

Not enough Chase, too much Fox lol.
It got a bit slow and I honestly am tired of Fox chapters, he's annoying AF
