I am very interest in neurology and neuropsychology, so this was a fun read! The case studies Sacks presents are extremely interesting, and he writes about his patients in a mostly very human way. However, there is definitely some very outdated language in this book, since it was published quite a while ago. Some of the ideas om ASD are also very outdated, and no longer form the general consesus now. This book may also be a bit challenging without some knowledge on neurology and the brain, as Sacks often uses terms that are not further explained. But generally he writes with a lot of heart, care and reflection.

A lot of interesting cases in this book, some hard to believe, of course, but knowing the complexity of the brain I do believe them. Great fodder for writing as well as purely fascinating subject matter.
